In terms of verification of an online ecommerce degree, everyone here
and there wants to get his degree from an accredited and well recognized
university. Students are curious to have a degree that is accepted and
verified by all. So, after completion of the courses one will not have
to face any difficulty regarding accreditation of his degree.

To find out whether the online degree program is accredited or not,
discover an accrediting agency and make sure that the degree that you
earn must meet certain standards of accreditation.
To find an Accrediting Agency
In the first step to determine the accreditation is to get the knowledge
about the accrediting agency. This information is not difficult to find,
you can easily find it at the program site or by calling institution’s
admission department. Students should verify the name of university as
well as contact information from accrediting agency.
The goal of this accreditation is to ensure that degree provided by
the institution should meet satisfactory levels of quality. Accrediting
agencies are private educational associations, they develop evaluation
criteria and conduct evaluations to assess whether the particular
university meets the standard criteria or not.
Institutions request to an agency for their evaluation and once they
meet the standard they are "accredited" by that agency. But be sure that
agency of the choice must be affiliated with the USDE.
Verification of Accrediting Agency
Once you find the accrediting agency then you must have to verify it.
Agencies that are verified by the USDE or U.S. Department of Education
or www.ed.gov, must have a standard that they adhere with the policies
or standards and hence awarding accreditation.
Some educational programs are accredited by agencies but these
agencies are not included or recognized in the list of USDE. So, you
need to make sure that the online ecommerce degree that you want to earn
is credited by a reputable agency, and also ensure that the agency is
also in USDE's list of accrediting agencies and recognized for its
capability of distance education.
